Serious Rocket Science is an independent software studio with a single obsession: making tools that serious musicians actually want to use. Not more of the same. Something better.

We take our time, we test rigorously, and we don't ship until we're proud of it. Our first product is coming in May 2026.

We operate under the Serious Music Tools brand for our music software — a name that means what it says. Serious Rocket Science is the studio behind it.

How we work

Data driven

We don't ship until the numbers say we should. Every feature is tested rigorously against real-world conditions before we trust it.

Hardware first

We build for the hardware we have, not the hardware everyone else has. Unique hardware capabilities deserve software that actually uses them.

No bloat

Our apps do one thing extremely well. No subscription fees, no in-app purchases for core features, no dark patterns. You pay once (or nothing) and you get the whole app.
