Serious Rocket Science is an independent software studio with a single obsession: making tools that serious musicians actually want to use. Not more of the same. Something better.
We take our time, we test rigorously, and we don't ship until we're proud of it. Our first product is coming in early 2027.
We operate under the Serious Music Tools brand for our music software — a name that means what it says. Serious Rocket Science is the studio behind it.
Every piece of work for our first product is sized and tracked. The amber line is work completed. The blue line is all the work planned for launch. When the lines meet, we're ready to launch.
Covers our first release only; work planned for later versions isn't counted. Effort is measured in points by task size (XS 1 · S 2 · M 3 · L 5 · XL 8), and the blue line rises when we add work to the launch plan.
